Bio: The oldest of 9 siblings, Sparky began his mascot career as a young pup in the tough kennels of Cainaheim, CA. His 4 brothers and 5 sisters all aspired to be a professional mascot one day, but only Sparky made it to the big time. He started out modestly after being spotted on a high school playground doing tricks and dancing as a young pup. The Athletic Director approached him and asked if he'd be interested in entertaining the crowds at their boys and girls basketball games. Sparky leaped at the chance and his career was launched!

After spending time at the high school he decided to venture out on his own. He trekked across the country and found himself in North Dakota. He spent some time performing for the University of North Dakota women's basketball team before making his way back to Los Angeles. He tried visiting STAPLES Center but couldn't get in, (no animals allowed). So he decided right then and there that he would find a way inside. He spent days outside the arena performing and was spotted by Sparks new owners Carla Christofferson and Kathy Goodman. They were long time season ticket holders and immediately saw his potential! They asked him what his name was and when he said Sparky, they knew he was the one who would thrill thousands of Sparks fans each game. He jumped at the chance and found his true calling!

Sparky made his debut just in time for the opening of the Sparks 2007 season and has been entertaining fans with his dance moves, antics and t-shirt tosses both on the floor and in the community ever since!
